After starting his career in academia, Grant worked as an environmental specialist, senior consultant and project manager, most recently with National Power in the continued expansion of its international business.

Prior to joining ReEnergy Group in July 2005 Grant was director of communications for International Power where he directed all internal and external communications for the company, including an interface with investors during and subsequent to the company's admission to trading on the Official List.
